This term the children in Purple and Orange classes have been learning about all kinds of plants, including flowers and trees. We have made our own 3D plants using salt dough which we have mixed ourselves. We have then painted them to look as realistic as possible!

So that we can understand how plants grow we have planted a sunflower seed each, some of which have already started to germinate. The children will be bringing them home soon. We hope they can be planted in your garden or in a pot so that the children can look after them. If there are any great results please take photos and send them in.

In addition we have begun to grow some butter beans in a transparent pot so we can see the roots and stems start to develop.
